Game Week 14 REVIEW ⚽

There were plenty of goals with no less than 32 being scored. David Moyes was back at Goodison to see Everton win 4-0, it’s a shame he was actually managing West Ham! Newcastle came back from two goals down to secure a draw at West Brom and stop their run of consecutive defeats. Tottenham fell further behind in the title race following a 2-1 defeat to Leicester. Arsenal hammered Huddersfield 5-0 as Man City showed they know how to dig deep by scoring a 96th minute winner to beat Southampton 2-1.

After game week 14 the Top 5 managers in our league are as follows;

Pos Manager Team Name Points
1 Karl L FC Don 849 pts
2 Lenny B Shrub Rocketeer 843 pts
3 Sean Z Woke City FC 830 pts
4 Adam C Barnselona 826 pts
5 Steve B ItsAllGoneShaneLong 821 pts
419 Scott Lowes – Levitate Kerimoglu Delight 637 pts

Manager of the Week

The manager of the week is Matthew Sykes (HTFC1908) who scored 85 points. He had a lucky break as he had Sané as his captain, however as he did not play it reverted to his Vice Captain of Salah who came off the bench to score 2 goals. Salah got him 26 pts. Other big point scorers for him were Rooney with 15 pts and De Bruyne with 13 pts.

Player of the week

Özil of Arsenal was the player of the week with 17 pts.

Levitate’s Player to watch

  • Last week’s suggestion was Pascal Groß who scored 3 pts.

Stephen Ward (Defender) – Burnley – £5.1m

As a Blackburn fan it really hurts to see Burnley doing so well, but that they are! A big part of their success has been their defence which has conceded the 3rd least amount in the league. Stephen Ward has played every game and has 6 clean sheets. He has scored 65 points in 14 games with an average of 4.6 points per game. Burnley have 3 winnable games coming up. — Burnley have never won the Premier League … unlike Blackburn Rovers!

Gameweek 15 kicks off  on Saturday Chelsea vs Newcastle at 12:30pm. The other big game of the day is the late kick off between Arsenal and Man United. The gameweek concludes on Sunday with 2 days

Good luck for week 15.
