⚽ Game Week 10 REVIEW ⚽

A sad weekend of football with the tragedy at Leicester, Glenn Hoddle’s heart attack and a fans death at the Brighton game. Standout results where Crystal Palace holding Arsenal to a 2-2 draw, Bournemouth beating Fulham 3-0 as Watford defeated Huddersfield by the same scoreline. Liverpool, Man City and Chelsea won again and all remain unbeaten.

After game week 10 the Top 5 managers in our league are as follows;

Manager of the Week

The Manager of the week is William Greaves (will.i.am) who scored an impressive 104 pts. His captain Salah scored him 30 pts.  Elsewhere he had four other players scoring 11pts or more. Five of his team made the Dream Team.

Player of the week

Barkley of Chelsea was the player of the week with 17 pts.

Levitate’s Players to watch for November (4 games being played)

Aymeric Laporte –Man City – Defender (£5.8m)

Always an element of risk having Man City players in that you never know who will play and who will be rested. That being said Laporte has played every single minute for City in the league so far. In those 10 games they have kept 7 clean sheets. He has scored a consistent 6 pts in his last 6 games.  A cheaper option than a lot of defenders. Man City face Southampton, Man United, West Ham and then Bournemouth.

Ross Barkley –Chelsea – Midfielder (£5.8m)

Again, an element of risk having Chelsea players due to the leave of rotation in the squad. His game time has been very sporadic over the course of the season, however in his last 3 games he has 3 goals and 3 assists to his name attaining 36 pts across those 3 games. He is a cheap option for a midfielder especially in a team expected to challenge for the title. We just hope he gets the game time. Chelsea play; Crystal Palace, Everton, Tottenham and then Fulham.

Glenn Murray – Brighton – Forward (£6.5m)

Gone for a value forward in the veteran Murray. Not the most prolific but does come up with key goals now again. He is outscoring a lot of ‘big name’ forwards who cost substantially more. Brighton face; Everton, Cardiff, Leicester and then Huddersfield.

I suggested 3 players I thought would have a good October – let’s see how they got on;

Willy Bolly –Wolves – Defender (£4.6m)

Leroy Sane – Man City – Midfielder (£9.2m)

Marko Arnautovic – West Ham – Forward (£7m)

Gameweek 11 kicks off until Saturday 3rd November with Bournemouth hosting Man United in the early kick off.  Arsenal vs Liverpool is the standout match being played at 5:30pm on Saturday. Wolves take on Tottenham at 7:45pm on Saturday. There are 2 games on the Sunday and Huddersfield vs Fulham on Monday evening rounds off the gameweek.

Good luck for week 11.
