There was drama at both ends of the table! At the Top, Burnley finally stopped Man United’s winning run albeit by giving a 2-0 lead to draw 2-2 in the final minutes. Newcastle shocked Man City 2-1 despite going behind after 24 seconds. Chelsea were taught a lesson by Bournemouth who won 4-0. At the other end in addition to Newcastle’s win, Fulham came from 2-0 to beat Brighton 4-2. Huddersfield and Cardiff remain in trouble following defeats to Everton (1-0) and Arsenal (2-1) respectively.

Manager of the Week
This week’s Manager of the Week is James Moorhouse (CescDrogs&CarltnCole) with 78 points. His Captain Aubameyang scored almost a third of his points with 24pts. Elsewhere Jiménez (12pts), Lindelöf (10pts) and Mané (9pts) where other big contributors. A decent score in a very low scoring week and he had -4pts for an extra transfer and Digne scored him -2pts.

Levitate’s Players to watch for February (4 gameweeks being played)
Michael Keane – Everton – Defender (£4.9m)
Keane has played all but 3 of Everton’s games this season. Everton’s form is erratic at best, however they have a run of winnable games in February. With 2 clean sheets in their last 2 games, I’m predicting another 2 in February. At only £4.9m and only 3.8% ownership he is cheap defender to have. Everton have 4 games in February and they take on; Wolves (H), Man City (H), Watford (A) and Cardiff (A).
Heung-Min Son – Tottenham – Midfielder (£8.6m)
Despite missing 6 games this season and only playing the full 90 minutes 4 times, Son is Tottenham’s 2nd best player based on points. With Harry Kanes injury, and now he is back from the Asian Games Son will be expected to take on the goal scoring burden. In spite of his limited game time he has already scored 9 goals and has 7 assists. Price wise he is mid priced midfield option but as he tends to play further forward and he is a midfielder in the Fantasy Football, you get an extra point per goal he scores. Tottenham face; Newcastle (H), Leicester (H), Burnley (A) and Chelsea (A).
Gonzalo Higuaín – Chelsea – Forward (£9.5m)
Not much form in the Premier League to go off, but Higuaín has been a prolific scorer in Spain and Italy. I’m going to give him the benefit of doubt and think he will have a strong February. Chelsea only have 3 games in February but I believe he will score a minimum of 3 goals. An expensive option but with only 1.5% ownership there are points to be earnt over others in the league. Chelsea take on; Huddersfield (H), Man City (A), Spurs (H).
At the start of January I suggested 3 players I thought would have a good January– let’s see how they got on;
|Matt Doherty (Wolves)||1pt||1pt||1pt||6pts||9 pts|
|Roberta Pereyra (Watford)||2pts||1pt||3pts||2pts||8 pts|
|Danny Ings (Southampton)||1pt||DNP||2pts||2pts||5 pts|
Gameweek 25 kicks off Saturday 2nd February with Tottenham hosting Newcastle in the early kick off. There are 7 games on Saturday, 2 on Sunday including Man City vs Arsenal, 1 game on Monday evening and then Everton host Man City on Wednesday 6th.
