It was a double game week for Man City and in his infinite wisdom, Pep decided to cancel Levitate’s big comeback by only giving Sane a measly 58 minutes across the 2 games!
Man City beat Arsenal (3-1) and Everton (2-0) to move to the top on the league as Liverpool dropped points again, drawing with West Ham 1-1. Chelsea bounced back with a 5-0 win over Huddersfield. Cardiff secured a much-needed win, beating Bournemouth 2-0. Tottenham kept their faint title hopes alive with a late 1-0 win over Newcastle.
After game week 25 the Top 5 managers in our league are as follows;

Manager of the Week
This week’s Manager of the Week is Douglas Cooper (RAPC 2nds) with a massive 123 points, which is the highest single week score in the league this season. He chose a good time to use his ‘Triple Captain’ as Aguero score him 57 pts. All but 2 of his starting 11 scored 6pots or more. It could’ve been even better as his subs scored a combined 20pts.
Player of the week
Laporte of Man City was the player of the week with 20 pts.
Levitate’s Players to watch for February (4 gameweeks being played)
At the start of February I suggested 3 players I thought would have a good February– let’s see how they got on this week.
|Michael Keane (Everton)||1pt||1 pt|
|Heung-Min Son (Tottenham)||11pts||11 pts|
|Gonzalo Higuaín (Chelsea)||13pts||N/A||13 pts|
Gameweek 26 kicks off Saturday 9th February with Fulham hosting Man United in the early kick off. There are 7 games on Saturday, 2 on Sunday and Wolves vs Newcastle close out the gameweek on Monday evening. The big game of the weekend takes place on Sunday as Man City take on Chelsea.
Good luck for week 26.
