Levitate’s Players to watch for March (4 gameweeks being played)
Luke Shaw – Man United – Defender (£5.1m)
Shaw seems to have finally settled at United and has a manager that doesn’t make him scared to get the ball. He is averaging at over 5pts a game over his last 7 games. 5 of those 7 games have resulted in a clean sheet. Man United face Southampton (H), Arsenal (A), Watford (H) and then Wolves (A) in March.
Xherdan Shaqiri – Liverpool – Midfielder (£6.9m)
This is admittedly a risky one as he is only a bit part player. As we are now entering the final part of the season I see him being utilised more as Liverpool look to secure their first Premiership title. He has 6 goals and 4 assists despite having limited playing time. In March Liverpool face; Everton (A), Burnley (H), Fulham (A) and Tottenham (H).
Jamie Vardy – Leicester – Forward (£8.8m)
A change in manager typically brings an upturn in form, and Vardy now has a manager who is proven at motivating his players to excel. He is not the cheapest nor is he expensive and with only 5.1% ownership he offers a decent chance of securing some much need Fantasy points. He has 9 goals and 3 assists in what has been a stop start season for him. March see’s Leicester take on; Watford (A), Fulham (H), Burnley (A) and Bournemouth (H).
At the start of February I suggested 3 players I thought would have a good February– let’s see how they got on.
|Michael Keane (Everton)||1pt||2pts||N/A||6pts||9 pts|
|Heung-Min Son (Tottenham)||11pts||6pts||2pts||2pts||21 pts|
|Gonzalo Higuaín (Chelsea)||13pts||2pts||N/A||2pts||17 pts|
Gameweek 29 kicks off Saturday 2nd March with the North London derby. There are 7 games on the Saturday and 3 fixtures on Sunday that conclude with the Merseyside derby.
Good luck for week 29
