Our client, a leading accountancy practice in Birmingham, is looking to hire a Private Client Tax Assistant Manager to join their team.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of compliance clients and undertaking advisory work.

Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of private client compliance work, including personal tax returns, trust tax returns, and inheritance tax returns
• Assist senior staff with ad hoc technical assignments and planning projects
• Provide support and guidance to junior members of the team
• Develop and maintain client relationships
• Assist with business development and marketing activities

Requirements:

• ACA/ACCA and/or CTA qualified
• At least 3 years of experience in private client tax compliance
• Previous advisory experience would be advantageous
• Strong technical knowledge of tax legislation and compliance requirements
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong project management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
